For many years early in his career, Mr. Lyons spent a major portion of his efforts in commercial litigation, both on the plaintiff’s side and on the defense. He has been involved in proceedings where the estimated potential damages exceeded 7 billion dollars (yes - billion) and his team of assisting attorneys and staff included 13 attorneys, a group of paralegals, and staff that numbered over 45 assisting in the controversy’s resolution. At present, Mr. Lyons still accepts commercial cases of interest, but tries to maintain the level of commercial cases at a low level in order to be free to pursue more interesting personal injury and wrongful death cases.
